At our 2025 symposium, Professor Scott Wade and Dr Wayne Neil conducted a corrosion training session for our ECRs and HDRs

At our annual symposium, Professor Harriet Whiley spoke about biofilms and introduced a number of speakers from the water industry including Jason Hinds from Enware, David Cook from SA Water, Rhys Anderson from Sequana, Harry Polman from H2O Biofouling Solutions BV and Stephanie Rinck-Pfeiffer from Global Water Research Coalition,

This year at our Symposium, each project team presented their work. Michaela Warwyk presented Swinburne University’s progress on “Biofilm and microbially influenced corrosion (MIC) development and the efficacy of MGPSs”.

We were thrilled that Professor Calum Drummond, RMIT DVCR, opened our 2025 Symposium in Melbourne. Director Sophie Leterme introduced the biofilm centre and then Professor Jeremy Webb (from the University of Southampton” presented a plenary address followed by Dr Yue Qu from Monash University.
