Making the most of the opportunity to meet with our key industry, international and university collaborators in person, the Launch was followed by the ARC BRICs first Annual Symposium. New ARC BRIC HDR students and Postdoctoral Researchers have had opportunities to meet with ARC BRIC Chief Investigators and industry partners including Enware Australia Franmarine Underwater Services, OsmofloSA WaterSPARC Technologies, and defence industry representatives, as well as our supporting partners including EPA, DMTC, the Australasian Corrosion Society and the Australian Society for Microbiology.

Collaborating universities Swinburne University of Technology and the University of Tasmania were well represented and the Centre team was privileged to hear about new biofilm research from our esteemed international partner investigators – Bressy christine (Professor Christine Bressy) from the University of Toulon and Professor Paul Stoodley from Ohio State University – who made the trip to Adelaide for the Launch and Symposium.
